YOGA FOR PREGNANT WOMEN
The bond between parents and children begins well before birth. Already in the mother’s belly, the baby is getting more and more linked to the stimuli that come from outside. Thus, to make motherhood an enjoyable experience, it is fundamental that the mother (and the father also) establish an integration with the child from the earliest physical, emotional and energetic levels. Yoga for pregnant women provides such a link. Some obstetricians recommend the practice of physical activities only after the end of the first trimester, but the practice of Yoga in Pregnancy, with follow-up, can be started as soon as the pregnancy is discovered, respecting the individual characteristics and the time of gestation. Yoga is union, integration; Unity of body, mind, emotion and spirit. Participating in Yoga in pregnancy requires a kind of “revolution” concerning the energy plane. It is as if Yoga said to the future mother: Stop! Turn around! Redirect the energy that was facing the outside, into the inside of itself. At this very moment, use all your energy in observing your movements; And in the awareness of every act of his, that all Yoga and all meditation begins.
