Céline Dion records original remake song of ‘Beauty and the Beast.’
Céline Dion will perform a “new original song” for the upcoming film ‘Beauty and the Beast.’ The 48-year-old singer played a rendition of the theme song for ‘The Beauty and the Beast’ on the soundtrack to Disney’s original animated film, and has now revealed that it will once again lend its voice to the franchise with a new track , ‘How Does A Moment Last Forever’, which will appear in the live-action remake.
Using her Facebook page on Thursday (19.01.17) to share the news, Céline wrote: “I’m very pleased to announce that I’m going to make a new original song, ‘How Does A Moment Last Forever’, for the live movie -Action from Disney, “The Beauty and the Beast.” Being part of the original movie was such a magical experience in my life, and I’m really honored to be a part of this film again.
And while ‘My Heart Will Go On’ star is busy recording her own music for the soundtrack, the job of producing a renewed version of the theme song – that was first performed by Angela Lansbury previously being recorded by Celine – By Ariana Grande and John Legend.
The new movie is set to hit theaters in March 2017.
