Number of Iranian drug traffickers caught in Malaysia surges

An Iranian drug chief is facing the death penalty for the second time in less than a year after he escaped from the gallows after his first arrest last year. The 37-year-old suspect was previously investigated for drug trafficking along with several other Iranians, but he was not indicted in court for lack of evidence.
