Visa wants you to pay your bills with a pair of glasses

Visa has a new payment pilot program that focuses on wireless. However, unlike initiatives like Samsung Pay, where you make payments by “pushing” the cell phone on the billing machine, Visa wants you to do the same, but with a pair of glasses.

As you can see in the image above, Visa simply added a wireless card to the side of the glasses. To begin the tests, the pilot will happen during the 2017 World Surfing Championship, which will take the seas of Queensland, Australia – best place to get the project out, right? After all, what’s the point of taking the wallet to the beach if you can afford it with your glasses?
In case you are expecting details about the lenses, the frame, and prices, forget it for now. The Visa payment card goggles do not have anything prominent beyond that capability.
