The latest photos in Knez’s collection come from May of 1968, when Paris was largely unsettled by student protests, strikes, and even a total shutdown of the country’s economy. At one point, the protests got so intense that civil war was feared, but surprisingly, the differing factions came to a peaceful agreement.
