Designed in the Victorian style by the prestigious architect Robert B Young in 1887, and constructed upon the former site of a Chinese market, this four-story building (with a six-story tower), property of the O. T. Johnson Corporation, was situated on the northeast corner of North and Main St., in close proximity to the Farmers and Merchants National Bank.
