Kurdish beauty Vian Amer Noori Sulaimani was crowned Miss Iraq 2017 on May 25, 2017 at the Babylon Warwick Hotel (Gilhamesh Hall) in Baghdad. The pageant plans to make a comeback to international pageants, reportedly Miss Universe.Vian, 23 years old, hails from the city of Sulaymaniyah but is currently working for an insurance/ investment company in the capital of the country, Baghdad.The prestigious Miss Iraq was founded in 1947 and in 1972 the country participated in Miss Universe for the first time.
