Parking in urban areas is a problem. We get it. Paying upwards of $20 to $30 an hour just to leave your car on the side of a busy street or inside of a crowded parking garage doesn’t seem like a very good deal. In Manhattan the issue has gotten so bad that now private parking spots are starting to really be worth money. In fact, if you are looking to buy a spot in downtown Manhattan you can bust out $1 million, 6 or 7 times the price of a house, and have one of your own. Call it an investment in the future. We’re actually not kidding. With the way parking spots are gaining value you could end up making a fortune in the long run. Still, it’d be pretty hard to pass over $1 million for an empty space of concrete in a parking garage. We never said it was easy being rich. Maybe we’ll just take the bus…
