Art is subjective, we know this, but nature rarely is. Tiger sharks are beautiful, dangerous, and violent creatures that have roamed the earth for millions of years. Now you can have one in your living room if you so desire. Considered an ‘art-piece’ we recently heard of a preserved tiger shark, contained in a large tank full of formaldehyde, selling for upwards of $12 million dollars. For $12 million you could probably go on enough fishing expeditions to capture a live one if you so wished. Still, ethics aside this is an incredible conversation starter to have looming over your living room. We suggest that single individuals skip out on spending the dime for this creature. It might send the wrong message when you bring your date back home with you. Slightly predatory, a little bit morbid, and definitely way too expensive.
