There was a point in time where domain names were as plentiful as grains of sand. You could literally pluck them off the internet for pennies. Feel bad about missing on Apple or Microsoft stock? Nah, feel bad about missing out on the domain name rush. Who knew this internet thing would catch on? The domain insure.com is available for a mouth watering $16 million. Right now it is owned by a California based firm by the name of Quinstreet. It’s the most expensive domain ever bought and sold. And it could have been ours if we just were quicker on the draw so many years ago. Oh well, live and learn. We’re still convinced that onealmond.com will take off.
