Mahlagha Jaberi – who was born in Isfahan, Iran, and is now based in San Diego, USA – could give the Kardashians a run for their money when it comes to Instagram stardom. The 27-year-old already has 1.6 million followers on the social-media platform and is being sought after by brands for promotional activities on her page.Mahlagha got a diploma in maths and physics before she moved on to business studies. Having modelled for couture designers in the past, Mahlagha makes for a striking picture with her flawless skin and lush hair that Iranian women are known for.
She says she stays away from parties, clubs and “all that crazy stuff” for a “good time”, and instead prefers to go shopping or for dinner and to the movies with a couple of good friends. She admits she feels “socially awkward” around men she finds attractive.
