Iran-Iraq earthquake: Hundreds killed as border region hit
The magnitude 7.3 earthquake was centred between Azgaleh and Sarpol-e Zahab towns, around 15km from the border with Iraq, in Kermanshah province home to Iran’s Kurdish ethnic minorities.
