“Oliver Twist” musical in Tehran

Iranian director Hossein Parsai will stage a musical version of “Oliver Twist” in Tehran’s Vahdat Hall in late November. The musical will be an adaptation based on “Oliver!”, a 1968 British musical drama film directed by Carol Reed, Parsai had told the Persian service of Hamshahri Online earlier. A large ensemble including 150 actors and musicians will perform in the play.
