Earthquake of magnitude 5.2 strikes near capital city
Ali Najafi further noted that “better buildings” are a vital matter, adding, “The buildings should be able to resist an earthquake of magnitude 7.0. However, some of Tehran’s buildings are not even able to resist an earthquake of magnitude 5.0.”
