Earthquake of magnitude 5.2 strikes near capital city

On Oct. 25, head of the Center for Prevention and Crisis Management of Tehran’s municipality, Ahmad Sadeghi, talked about the process of renovating Tehran’s worn-out urban structure in an interview with Fars News Agency, saying, “If we go forward with this pace, we need at least 100 more years to renovate Tehran and make it strong enough to resist a possible earthquake.”
