Meditate Meditation is having a moment. Every celebrity and entrepreneur claims to take time out of their day to get in some
om, and for good reason: Hundreds of studies have validated the various benefits of meditation. Research done this summer at Texas Tech University showed that meditation can "improve attention, working memory, creativity, immune function, emotional regulation, self-control, cognitive and school performance and healthy habits while reducing stress.” A 2014 study showed that it increased brain function. And last February, Rutgers researchers showed that it can even help decrease depression when paired with exercise. Morning is a great time to start this habit: You can before stress sucks up your energy.
