You’ll need to wear retainers

These will help to hold your teeth in their new position whilst new bone forms around the teeth. There are two types of retainers: fixed retainers and removable retainers. Fixed retainers are thin wires permanently glued to the back surfaces of the front teeth. Removable retainers are made of thin clear plastic and are worn at night and taken out during the day.
