Amir-Entezam made his way through the ranks of the interim government after the 1979 Revolution. He was appointed by Mehdi Bazargan, the head of Iran’s Interim Government, on the morning of February 4, 1979, to take over the Prime Minister’s Office. Due to his previous work with Shahpour Bakhtiar, who had been discharged after the fall of the Shah, Amir-Entezam was well-acquainted with the employees and workers in the Prime Minister’s Office.
