Abbas Amir Entezam, 'Longest-Serving Political Prisoner', Dies at 86

In high school, Amir-Entezam grew interested in the Oil Nationalization Movement of 1948. The occupation of Iran and the 1953 coup fostered his concern for the country and his admiration for Mosadegh and later Mehdi Bazargan, under whom Amir-Entezam studied at the University of Tehran.
