During the 2016 presidential campaign, Donald Trump consistently attacked Hilary Clinton about her email scandal. However, according to Newsweek, Donald Trump and his company systematically destroyed and covered up thousands of emails despite court orders telling them to stop. He did this to draw out lawsuits against him and make it difficult for lawyers to obtain records. He’s been using this tactic since the early 70’s when the federal government went after him for denying African-Americans to stay in his apartments.
