Ayatollah Ahmad Jannati is an Iranian Shi'i cleric and a conservative politician. Jannati is known for his hatred of secularism, anti-LGBT rhetoric, and his advocacy of discrimination against non-Muslims. He is also a founding member of the Haghani school of thought.
