Salmon For Increasing Hair Growth
Salmon is rich in protein and Vitamin D. It also contains Omega-3 fatty acids which cannot be made by the body and are needed by the body to grow hair. 3% of the hair shaft is made up of these acids and they are also found in the cell membranes of the scalp skin. These oils keep the hair nourished and hydrated. If salmon is not readily available, these essential fatty acids can also be got from other fish that breed in cold water like trout, herrings, mackerel or sardines. They are also found in walnuts and pumpkin seeds.
