Surprise Presidential Birthday

In May 2018 U.S. Pres. Donald Trump announced the withdrawal of the United States from the nuclear agreement and that sanctions would be reimposed. Other signatories to the treaty agreed to uphold it, though many businesses based in those countries pulled out of Iran and a significant amount of international trade with Iran was cut because of the United States’ far-reaching sanctions.
