Having won several awards and nominations for his work, Shahab Hosseini is one of Iran`s most sought-after actor and is also known globally for his collaborations with director Asghar Farhadi. He started his acting career in 2002 with the movie Rokhsareh, following which he appeared A Candle in the Wind, The Fifth Reaction, and Salvation at 8:20, for all of which he received award nominations. He is best remembered for his work in the Academy Award-winning movie A Separation, and The Salesman, for his work in which he won Best Actor Award in 2016 Cannes Film Festival.
