Marjan, renowned artist and singer, passes away

On Saturday morning, Mrs. Shahla Safi Zamir, better known among Iranians as Marjan, a popular singer and former political prisoner, died in a hospital in Los Angeles. The tragic event marked the end of Marjan's four decades of staunch resistance against the most vicious tyranny in Iran’s history.
