Different substances, including the food that we eat, no matter if it’s solid or liquid, have a pH value. On a scale of 1 to 14, foods that have a pH less than 7, are considered acidic.
Ideally, our blood should have a pH of 7.35 — 7.45, which is considered to be slightly alkaline. The pH inside of our stomach is around 3.5 to 5.5, which is highly acidic.
