Aydin Aghdashloo; A prominent and renowned artist

In 2020, an Iranian reporter accused Aghdashloo of sexually assaulting her during an interview in the late 2000s. Over the past decades, there has been a number of reports accusing him of sexually assaulting women some of whom where his students under 18 at the time of the assault. These public allegations has marked what some activists and commentators named the Iranian #MeToo.
