A study by two Dutch scientists has offered an answer to the longstanding question many office workers ask come summer - why when some men in the office are reaching for the air conditioning, are some women slipping on cardigans? Men are less resistant to high temperatures. On the other hand, a man's body is a natural heater because its temperature is 0.2 degrees higher on average than a woman's. This is connected to men's higher metabolism.
