Drinking low-fat
milk (one and two percent) is associated with longer telomeres and almost five years less
aging than drinking whole fat
milk or abstaining from
milk, according to a study published in Oxidative Medicine and Cellular Longevity.
Milk also contains retinol, a known
anti-
aging and skin-restoring antioxidant. Plus,
milk's vitamin D is also an
anti-
aging vitamin thanks to its
anti-inflammatory effects and protection from UV rays.
