Samad Behrangi: Teacher, social critic, folklorist, translator, and short story writer

The appearance in 1978 of Nāmahā-ye Ṣamad Behrangī, compiled by the author’s brother Asad, practically completes the corpus of Behrangī’s writings.During the 1970s, Behrangī became a hero and martyr figure for anti-Pahlavī groups, and during the 1979 Revolution he received considerable attention.
