Work on your campus newspaper, radio, or with other news outlets. One of the greatest things about college is that there are so many opportunities. If you're not jiving with your campus newspaper, there's half a dozen other resources you can be a part of. Get your hands on something in line with your interests. It doesn't have to be perfect now; it just has to be a start.
