With over half of all plastic surgeries in South Korea completed being for tourists who traveled to the country for surgery, it’s no surprise that many other developed countries across the world are trying to quickly follow suit. In the United States alone, there have been over 200,000 plastic surgery procedures performed in the past year on teens ranging from ages 13 to 19. With the number of cosmetic procedures having grown nearly 200% since 2000, it makes sense that plastic surgery graduation gifts would gain traction as a popular option for teens.
