Arrest made in assault of Elnaz Hajtamiri, Canada-wide warrant issued for 2nd man

York Regional Police have arrested a 23-year-old Mississauga man in connection with the alleged assault of Elnaz Hajtamiri, who was abducted from a family member’s home in Wasaga Beach three months ago. Police have issued a Canada-wide warrant for a second man.Police say an arrest was made Wednesday and the suspect was charged with attempted murder, attempted kidnapping, possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000 and mischief under $5,000. The search is continuing for a 23-year-old Brampton man.
