Arrest made in assault of Elnaz Hajtamiri, Canada-wide warrant issued for 2nd man

On Tuesday,  the OPP released a video statement from Elnaz’s mother — Fariba Hajtamiri — who lives in Iran. “We have no news about her. We don’t know if she is alive or not,” Fariba said. “We desperately need your help. Please guide us and share your information with us. If you have any information, please share it with the police. I beg of you as a mother to guide us and tell us everything you know.”
