We’d be surprised if anybody said they don’t have a single Samsung manufactured product somewhere in the house. These days, they have a vast product range that spans all electronics and household appliances – from mobiles to televisions and fridge-freezers. But in the beginning, all Samsung had was fish. A lot of dried fish. Samsung started life in the 1930s as a trading company, selling groceries including dried fish and noodles. Based in Korea, the company had over 40 employees and didn’t start to see some success until the breakout of the Korean War forced them to move.
