Baba Vaga was a controversial but revered blind soothsayer in Bulgaria, her powers are even said to have drawn Soviet leader Leonid Brezhnev to see her. Descendants - she died in 1996 - claim to have inherited her supposed ability to see into the future, though even they have said they are sceptical.
