Why do rich people send their children to study abroad?

According to new data from the Hurun Report, eight-tenths of China's wealthy send their children to be educated overseas. The most popular choice for secondary school is the good, old-fashioned British boarding school, with 28.7 percent of China's elite agreeing that the country's future is best decided on the playing fields of Eton.
