Football player Ali Daei under attack by the Iranian state media

Daei, who had his passport briefly confiscated after returning to Iran earlier this year, said his wife and daughter left the capital, Tehran, legally before the flight stopped on Kish Island in the Persian Gulf, where they were questioned by authorities.
