Ramin Yektaparast, the main suspect in organizing an attack on a Jewish cultural center in Essen

Yektaparast is understood to have fled to Iran last year to escape trial for the brutal murder and dismemberment of another member of the gang in 2014, according to German media reports. Six other men went on trial for the killing during the summer. German investigators believe that Yektaparast, whose dormant Instagram page features both the Iranian and German flags, is affiliated with the IRGC’s operations in Germany.
