A woman whose husband left her when she suddenly started growing facial hair has revealed she now loves her beard and moustache. Mandeep Kaur from Punjab, India, married in 2012, believing she had found the love of her life. However, a few years into her marriage, the 33-year-old started to develop facial hair. As a result, her husband walked out on their relationship. It’s not clear what triggered her condition, but the most common cause of excessive hair growth in women – known as hirsutism – is polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS).
