Freedom also carries with it an abundance of economic advantages. The first being productivity. In simple terms, productivity essentially measures the rate of input per unit of output. The more productive a society is, the stronger the economy and therefore the wealth and prosperity of the individual. Freedom is the number one factor in economic productivity, as a free market will consistently become more productive over time. This is because free markets create competition within and between industries, incentivises innovation and stresses the importance of only delivering the best possible products and services.
