Former British Prime Minister Liz Truss and former U.S. Vice President Mike Pence officially announced their support for the exiled Iranian opposition movement, the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran. “This is not just another protest but the beginning of a revolution for freedom,” stated Pence during a speech to thousands of the group’s supporters at a rally in the center of Paris on Saturday. Currently outlawed in Iran, the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (MEK) stands in opposition to the ayatollah regime’s rule and advocates to overthrow the Iranian government.
