On the western side, clutches of tea bushels and swathes of ancient Colchic forest thrive on mineral-rich soils and humid air, cascading down to the foothills of the Lesser Caucasus and the dark-sand beaches on the Black Sea coast. From the ‘Georgian Arctic’ to the ‘Georgian Dolomites’ and the ‘Riviera of the Caucasus’, there’s a little bit of everything in Georgia. On top of that, Georgia is the steward of eons of history, many chapters of which you’ve likely never heard about before. A coveted bridge between East and West, when Georgia wasn’t being invaded, she was being nourished by influences from all four corners of the globe, adding layers to the already rich Georgian culture.
