Mani Haghighi was born on May 4, 1969 in Tehran, Iran. He is an actor, film director and writer, known for The Pig (2018), Modest Reception (2012) and Men at Work (2006). Last year the filmmaker was due to present his film 'Subtraction' in London, but was stopped by authorities at the airport in Tehran and had his passport confiscated.
