The town was called Münsterberg and was part of the Kingdom of Prussia in the 18th Century and the documents found were in German. It was also discovered that the time capsule was discovered first in 1855, the contents were cleaned and new items were added and it was reburied. The documents revealed that the church was built in 1797 on the site if a 15th Century castle and contained names of the people involved in the construction of the church including the donors.
