What other dog breeds are banned in the UK?

Three other dog breeds were outlawed in the Dangerous Dogs Act along with the pit bull terrier:

• Japanese Tosa
• Dogo Argentino
• Fila Brasileiro

Cross-breeding these four species is also banned here in the UK, and the Prime Minister’s announcement means the XL bully should be added to this list by the end of 2023.
