You don’t have to be a strong and independent woman to bear a child. You just must have the proper physical equipment. Do you know what it takes to push a baby out of a woman’s body?
The organs in a woman's pelvis include the uterus, vagina, and cervix. These are held together by a group of muscles. During childbirth, the muscles in your uterus press down on the baby, and then down onto your cervix. Along with the release of the hormone oxytocin and contractions in your body, bones and ligaments stretch. The baby then travels down to the vagina, where it’s then pushed out. The female body can perform miracles and the fact is alluded to in the Reproductive Health Journal.
