If industries were more clear on dress codes and tackled the problem head on, women across the country would feel less stressed and have one less thing to worry about in the workplace. The fact that nearly one in ten women have absolutely no sense of what management expects them to wear is unacceptable.

Despite some of the negative findings, it is studies like this that help identify the problem and allow us to make the large steps in making improvements. We need to talk about and explore these issues in order to keep growing and ensure that women are treated equally in all aspects of the workplace.
