What is the reason behind the immense popularity of street foods?

There is something so magical about street food. I love the idea of just walking down the street, getting hungry and being able to grab a quick bite without having to stop in a restaurant.

Street food is so accessible because nowadays you can literally find it everywhere whether it’s just a plain warm bagel, a sandwich or a sweet pancake. Financially speaking it’s also very good value for money. It’s possible to have a nice breakfast or even a quick lunch just by heading down to one of the local food markets or food stands and vans.
