The top five surgical procedures in 2019 were breast augmentation (299,715), liposuction (265,209), nose reshaping (207,284), eyelid surgery (206,529), and tummy tuck (130,081). The top five minimally invasive procedures in 2019 were botulinum toxin type A injections (7.7 million), soft tissue fillers (2.7 million), chemical peels (1.4 million), laser hair removal (1.1 million), and microdermabrasion (709,413). In terms of gender distribution, in 2019, women accounted for 92% of all cosmetic procedures, with the most common surgical procedures for women being breast augmentation, liposuction, and tummy tuck. The most common surgical procedures for men were nose reshaping, eyelid surgery, and liposuction.
